Over the past 32 years James Loftin has developed a rich and diverse leadership and coaching background that includes many international and cross cultural opportunities. His training, travels and experiences as an entrepreneurial leader give James a valuable perspective and the unique ability to help leaders communicate effectively within and beyond their core team and audience.

James is the founder and president of FollowOne International, a non-profit organization that equips church leaders to develop teams and utilize resources in order to have maximum impact. James has served as Missions Pastor in three mega-churches, and in 1999 he joined the six-person team commissioned to launch the Orlando campus of Asbury Theological Seminary. For five years he served as Director of Missions and Dean of the Chapel. James is also the founder and president of Connections Consulting Inc. Using resources from anthropology, sociology, and communication theory, the Connections team equips people to communicate cross culturally through the use of seminars, coaching, emersion trips and editing services.

In addition to achieving an undergraduate degree in sociology at Mississippi State University, James received a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and is completing a doctorate in missional leadership.

James has led courses on strategic leadership across America and in settings as diverse as Cuba, China, Russia, Korea, and the Philippines. His global perspective, commitment to excellence, ability to think strategically, warmth and passion make James a good fit for leaders seeking help in moving their teams and companies forward.

James and his wife Carolyn have been married for 35 years, and now live in Winter Springs, Florida. They have been blessed with three children, and three grandchildren. In addition to experiencing life with his growing family, James likes to be on or in the water, hike in the woods, walk on the beach, read fiction, and play with his Labrador Retriever Sully.
